Shipping Policy
Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
- Standard Shipping (Continental U.S.): $6.95 for orders under $75 • Free on orders $75+
- Alaska & Hawaii: $14.95 flat rate
- International Shipping: Calculated at checkout (we currently ship to Canada, UK, select EU countries)
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). Once shipped, you'll receive a confirmation email with tracking.
Estimated Delivery Times
- Continental U.S.: 3–7 business days after processing
- Alaska & Hawaii: 7–14 business days
- Canada: 7–12 business days
- International (UK/EU): 10–20 business days
Delivery times are estimates only. We are not responsible for delays due to carriers, customs, weather, or events beyond our control. International customers are responsible for any customs duties/taxes.
Order Tracking
Track your package using the number in your shipping confirmation email. Contact us at hello@davidslight.com for issues.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If marked delivered but not received, or arrives damaged:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery date
- Provide photos of damage/packaging
- We’ll file a carrier claim and arrange replacement or refund
Returns & Refunds
Return Eligibility
We accept returns of unused, unopened, unburned candles (wick intact) within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (excluding shipping fees).
Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Opened, used, or burned candles
- Final sale items (marked at checkout)
- Custom or personalized orders
How to Return an Item
- Email hello@davidslight.com with order number and reason.
- We'll issue an RMA number and instructions.
- Pack securely in original packaging with RMA visible.
- Ship back (customer pays return shipping unless damaged/defective).
- Refund processed within 5–10 business days after inspection to original payment method.
Defective or Damaged Items
For damaged/defective candles (broken glass, manufacturing issue):
- Contact within 7 days with photos
- We cover return shipping + provide replacement or full refund (including original shipping)
Refunds
- Issued to original payment method
- Original shipping non-refundable (except our error/damaged items)
- Return shipping customer responsibility unless stated otherwise
